Aqus Audio focuses on the development of high-end monitoring systems with an emphasis on flexibility, wide frequency reproduction, and high output relative to size. Each design is created to adapt to different environments and use cases, combining precision engineering with sleek, modular forms that allow for versatile setup and configuration.

Aqus Audio started from a fascination with sound and the desire to understand it beyond the surface.

For founder Tizian Heinsohn, that journey began early. At sixteen he was already making music and exploring production. A few years later, his focus shifted toward building the systems that bring sound to life. A first encounter with sound system culture at Boom Festival in 2012 set the direction and deepened his interest in how sound moves through space.

What followed was a hands-on process of building, testing, and refining. Through projects like Horner, co-run with Carlo, Tizian developed custom systems for Berlin’s underground scene and gained a practical understanding of what makes a system feel powerful, efficient, and alive. This approach continued into his work with HOLOPLOT, where advanced beam-steering technologies expanded his perspective on controlled sound projection.

Today, Aqus Audio reflects this path. Alongside his work at Teile Lautsprecher, Tizian continues to develop speaker systems driven by experimentation, working closely with materials and physical processes to shape acoustic performance.

Rather than relying purely on theory, Aqus Audio is grounded in making. Each system is the result of iteration, precision, and a deep connection to sound system culture.
